  • Overview

    Job Summary: Assist in the performance of various payroll, personnel, benefits and training functions. Provide support for administrative and store personnel as required.

    Responsibilities

    Job Duties:

    • Maintain complete confidentiality of personnel and payroll information at all times
    • Enter new employee information into Lawson system, entering salary changes and any changes in status or location
    • Entering and tracking performance reviews for all employees
    • Assist with employee social activities such as Service Award Luncheons and Employee Appreciation Day and other activities as needed
    • Assist with the coordination of company meetings such as Regional Retail meetings, Technician, Shift Supervisor, Merchandise Manager and Loss Prevention regional meetings.
    • Assist with the announcements relating to employee activities and corporate activities, to the appropriate media and internally
    • Assist in the maintenance of employee personnel records
    • Assist in tracking all necessary paperwork to comply with federal and state laws
    • Back up for the Payroll department – processing weekly payroll and entering tax information, paying payroll taxes
    • Back up for the Benefits department – entering benefit deductions into Lawson, reconciling and paying all Benefit companies, tracking disability, workman’s compensation claims and paid leav
    • Assist in the preparation of insurance, orientation and related mailings to employees
    • Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
    • Maintain the company pool cars. Assigning cars and tracking the usage.
    • Handling all customer complaints and forwarding to proper person to follow up on.
    • Perform other duties as assigned

     

     

     

     

    Qualifications

    Education Requirements:

    • Minimum: AS Degree in Business Management or 5 years experience in related field
    • Preferred: BS Degree or Higher in Business Management

    Experience:

    • Minimum: 5 years previous experience in Personnel, Payroll or related field

    Special Conditions of Employment:

    • Criminal background check
    • Drug Test
    • Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
