Overview

Scope of Responsibilities: The Mail Order Pharmacy Program Coordinator will collaborate across internal teams and external partners to support and enhance revenue-generating initiatives such as Retail-to-Mail. This individual will take ownership of program processes, contribute to member/client onboarding efforts, and ensure smooth operational flow through proactive communication, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts. The role requires adaptability, initiative, and a customer-focused mindset to drive program success and service excellence.

 

Job Summary: This position is responsible for executing and refining processes that support retail-to-mail transitions and other strategic pharmacy programs. The coordinator will manage their daily operational tasks, including outreach to members and providers, data maintenance, and reporting on program performance. They will also assist with member/client onboarding, respond to program inquiries, and contribute insights to improve workflows and outcomes. The role supports cross-functional collaboration and requires strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills to help drive business impact and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Own process creation and updates when engaging in allocated programs.
  • Perform daily duties, including the processing and maintenance of regular retail-to-mail files, member, and doctor reach outs.
  • Partner with known entities as needed (Sales teams, Implementation teams, etc.)
  • Be flexible to participate in both internal, external, and client facing discussions as needed.
  • Assist in the reports outlining revenues gained, total work completed and any forecasting information.
  • Provide feedback and insight on how to improve current and future programs and processes of this nature and scope.
  • Monitor and respond to mail and program inflow.
  • Assist with the coordination and implementation for the startup of new clients including new group enrollments, changes, and deletions.
  • Performs office duties as needed (includes copying, collating, mailings, filing)
  • Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Job Skill Requirements:

  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for outreach to members, providers, and internal teams.
  • Member/Client Engagement: Comfortable participating in member-facing discussions and supporting onboarding activities.
  • Data Handling & Reporting: Competence in compiling and interpreting program data to support revenue tracking and forecasting.
  • Technical Proficiency: Preferred experience with Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools for documentation and reporting.
  • Organizational Skills: Skilled in managing multiple tasks and maintaining program files.

Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum: High School Diploma or GED

 

Experience:

  • Preferred: 0-2 years experience as Rx Technician or Customer Service Representative in a health care related service.
  • Preferred: Outbound or “cold calling” related skills and experience

 

Compensation:

 

 $17.00-17.50 per hour.

 

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
