Overview

Job Summary:  Responsible to maintain accurate and complete patient and employee records. To perform data entry, billing and payroll processes according to company policy and procedures.

Responsibilities

Job Duties:

  • Ensure growth and profitability of the company through the responsible use of company
  • Maintain a professional and quality image at all
  • Answer the phone within three (3) rings and take messages
  • Distribute mail.
  • Greet and direct visitors
  • Track and maintain medical and office supplies and reorder as
  • Working knowledge of computer
  • Gather forms for
  • Set up files for new patients and employees and enter into
  • File accurately using chart order or file
  • Participates in on-call rotation as appropriate.
  • Responsible for scheduling of business unit personnel, as
  • Produce census list, and other lists as required.
  • Print reports as required off
  • Files and maintains agency policy manuals and all other master manuals.
  • Applies the policies and procedures of the agency and the rules and regulations of state and federal regulatory agencies and other certified agencies in providing
  • Willingly accepts direction from the Administrator, Director of Nursing, and Case
  • Meets or exceeds established productivity
  • Participates in orientation of new staff if
  • Generate billing log.
  • Typing of letters and reports as
  • Distributes routings, correspondences,
  • Scan and uploads admission consent and other paperwork into Agency software
  • Maintain ongoing communication with co-workers and participates in staff meetings.
  • Adheres to established personnel
  • Follows standard precautions and infection control
  • Reports all accidents and incidents
  • Identifies and responds appropriately to emergency
  • Assures safety needs of the patients are addressed and
  • Ensures that care is provided with respect for patient
  • Ensures protected health information is kept confidential
  • Reports complaints made by patients or families to the appropriate persons
  • Adheres to established personnel
  • Reports allegations of patient abuse, neglect and/or misappropriation of patient
  • Accepts other assignments as deemed
  • Attends in-service and meetings as required
  • Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma

Experience Preferred:

  • Prefer experience in an office setting

Physical Requirements:

  • Primarily medium in nature with exerting up to 35 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, bend or otherwise move objects, involves sitting, walking, standing, driving, talking, hearing, reaching. Ability to work at a desk for up to eight hours per day. Involves prolonged phone use.
