Overview

Scope of Responsibilities: Works under limited supervision.  Relies on experience and judgment to ensure adequate inventory levels

 

Job Summary: Responsible for the inventory management and appropriate stock levels.  Will work with facility assistant manager as well as other members of supply chain to ensure inventory needs are met. 

Responsibilities

Job Duties:

  • Assist in the ordering of replacement supplies and product from the appropriate supplier
  • Monitor drug shortages, backorders, recalls, out of stocks, etc. and find alternate supplier
  • Provide strong member facing interactions to provide appropriate information on potential delays or concerns with their medications
  • Utilize the latest communication technology that has been implemented by ProAct to ensure that messages are dispersed among all suitable team members and departments
  • Receive incoming orders from appropriate suppliers
  • Monitor and receive inter-store transfers with accurate adjustments
  • Replenish inventory from in-store stock and incoming orders
  • Process replacements and product returns from customers with proper tracking on spreadsheets
  • Assist in the management of inventory levels ensuring adequate quantities are available to meet customer’s needs, without maintaining excessive levels
  • Monitor and maintain 340B accounts
  • Responsible for monthly inventory cycle counts of all in store stock
  • Monitor preferred product changes including generic launches to maximize profitability
  • Assist in identifying and returning outdated or over stocked merchandise to the proper source
  • Perform general housekeeping duties necessary to maintain a professional and clean department
  • Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
  • Assist in other departments as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled) or GED
  • Preferred:   AS Degree or Higher

Pharmacy Technician Certification

 

Experience:

  • Preferred: 2 or more years of experience with inventory management

 

Special Conditions of Employment:

  • Drug test
  • Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
  • Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position

 

Job Skills Required:

  • Detailed knowledge of daily drug usage
  • Basic keyboarding and calculator skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Requires the ability to stand throughout most of the shift
  • Limited lifting up to 60 lbs.

 

Attendance Requirements:

  • Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends as required
