Job Summary:  Responsible for the flow of merchandise through the sort and receipt of freight on a daily basis.  Replenish priority 1 and 2 freight from reserve locations to home locations and the gathering and loading of outbound parcel shipments. The position is maintaining communications throughout the department staff, buyers, supervisors, stores and other departments

Job Duties:

• Verifies accuracy of all receiving documents, maintaining accurate inventories of all locations and moveable units in the Distribution Center
• Maintains security, integrity and control of all freight, including controlled substances and confidential material
• Work cross functionally across all departments of the Distribution Center to insure effective and accurate receipt and management of inventory
• Deliver total customer service to our stores and other departments
• Schedules incoming truck appointments
• Operate all equipment associated with picking, replenishment and receiving responsibilities for regular and special store orders
• Move freight from the Receiving area to home and reserve locations in a timely fashion
• Assist in cross functional work assignments when work load demands
• Pick store orders while maintaining the integrity of our inventories
• Maintain open communications with the management team, to help coordinate the general flow of inventory throughout the Distribution Center pipeline
• Utilize safe and efficient fork lift operator techniques and have a good working knowledge of both CRT and RF equipment
• Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education:

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: Associates Degree or higher

Special Conditions of Employment:

• Drug Test
• Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
• Must possess a valid NYS Driver’s License

Compensation:

$16.00 - $22.17 an hour

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
